First it was Sean Spicer. We laughed at him for a while until he became tiresome for the many lies he offered to the American people. When he was forced to resign, the press was given Sarah Huckabee Sanders. As Trump’s paid liar, she has become more abrasive and has declared open warfare on the press. Pointing to a single, honest mistake by an ABC reporter, who issued an apology, this was her latest attack on the legitimate press.

“There’s a very big difference between making honest mistakes and purposefully misleading the American people. Something that happens regularly. You can’t say — I’m not done. You can’t say that it’s an honest mistake when you are purposely putting out information that you know to be false or when you’re taking information that hasn’t been validated, that hasn’t been offered any credibility and that has been continually denied by a number of people including people with direct knowledge of an incident. This is something that — I’m speaking about the number of reports that have taken place over the last couple of weeks. I’m simply stating that there should be a certain level of responsibility in that process.”

I considered giving Sanders a little leeway, but I couldn’t do it. She has chosen to constantly lie and cover-up the lies of a mentally incompetent and immoral man. No one is forcing her to take a paycheck. Sanders is obviously willing to embarrass herself and her country to protect a failed and illegitimate president.

Sanders’ entire purpose has obviously become the defense of Trump’s personal attacks on the legitimate news services, and the protection of Trump’s favorite fake-news network; Fox.

“Very little discussion of all the purposely false and defamatory stories put out this week by the Fake News Media,” Trump tweeted on Sunday afternoon. “They are out of control – correct reporting means nothing to them. Major lies written, then forced to be withdrawn after they are exposed…a stain on America!”

If Trump considers the fourth estate a ‘stain on American,’ we can claim that he is a cancer on our nation. He is a destructive force who will leave behind permanent damage to our nation with the collusion of his hypocritical party.

The daily White House press conferences have become nothing more than a farce. They are nothing more than fodder for the late night comedy shows.
