After Paul Ryan took office in 1999, he had two goals. He wanted to rewrite that tax code and give more money to the wealthy; and he sought to destroy social security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Let’s take a look at Ryan’s recent celebration after the House passed Trump’s destructive tax plan.
First of all, after 18 years in office, Ryan has never answered one crucial question; where has the money contributed by employees and employers to social security gone? The system was designed to be self-sustaining. The annual budget would not be required to contribute any funds to sustain it. In addition, facts prove that no individual who receives social security payments will ever receive the full amount contributed by his or herself and their employer. Logic proves that social security should have a surplus. Congress has obviously stolen money from the system for their own projects or personal use; and Ryan knows this to be a fact.
Medicare and Medicaid are systems which work well for the majority of the American people. Ryan rejects them because they do not affect the wealthy in a beneficial manner. Now there is talk that Ryan will resign as the Speaker after the 2018 midterms. This would be a gift to the American people; now if we can rid our nation of the old and useless McConnell who has proven himself to be a traitor to the American people. He has very few accomplishments in his 18 year career. He talked the talk, but never walked the walk. In the last nine years, he and his party fail to have a single piece of significant legislation to claim as their own. He recently bragged about all the bills the House has passed since last January, but the truth is that most of them are bills which named post offices and other menial laws.
The worst of Paul Ryan is the fact that before Trump was elected, Ryan denounced him as ‘immoral, and unfit’ to be the President. Now, in a display of the greatest hypocritical action of all time, he bows to Trump’s every demand. Ryan is useless, and if he removes himself from a position of power, our nation will be better for his decision.
Please re-post; thank you.
