Trump will surely call this ‘fake news.’ An annual Gallup Poll reveals that President Barrack Obama is the most admired man in the United States for the 10th year in a row. Hillary Clinton remains the most admired woman for 16 years running.
Poor Donny Boy; he just can’t get a break. He loses once again to President Obama. The fact that Hillary is honored must really crush his ego. He couldn’t beat her in the election, and he now knows that his approval rating of 32 percent is too high.
Several candidates received votes; there was not a dominate man or woman. However, I believe that it’s interesting that the man and woman who received the most votes are the two individuals most attacked by Trump.
Let’s be honest here; no one should be surprised. Ignoring the distractions from the right wing, and the failure of the media to hold Trump to the same standard as Hillary Clinton, the choices were understandable.
President Obama faced the greatest challenge of any president since the end of the great depression. He accomplished most of his goals as he led our nation out of a huge recession, and brought most of our military home. He did all of this in a respectful and thoughtful manner; serving all Americans; not just the one-percent.
Hillary was the most qualified presidential candidate in history. Her time as first lady, a senator from New York, and as Secretary of State offered a unique perspective of our government’s actions both domestically and internationally. She spent more than 35 years of her life serving the American people.
What has Trump ever sacrificed for his country. The answer is nothing. What he has done is to spend approximately $90 million of taxpayer money allowing him to continue his life of luxury and golf.
For real Americans, ‘respect’ and ‘admiration’ are not words we associate with Donald J. Trump.
