Here it is; your truth about the last year and your hopes for the new year. Trump has accomplished almost nothing in his first year, with the exception of altering the Republican Party from a partially Democratic group into a party which supports fascism. His other ‘successes’ have been the alienation of our closest allies, while he has adopted the policies of autocratic nations including Russia, Turkey, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia. He has signed executive orders which violate the Constitution. His Muslim ban has failed repeatedly. He is attempting to deport thousands of Hispanics whose only crimes are seeking a better life for themselves and their families. In concert with Jeff Sessions he has removed protections for non-violent offenders and enacted provisions which will imprison thousands of black men and women for an extended period of time. He is removing healthcare from millions of Americans. He has made the world a more dangerous place with his vulgar and aggressive rhetoric. The economy appears to be moving in a positive direction, but after the policies of President Obama are deleted by Trump and his hypocritical party, our nation will be in another recession. He has managed to divide our nation more than at any other time since the Civil War. His ‘trickle down economic policy’ will fail as all others have failed before him and successfully increase the wealth of his family and other billionaires and millionaires. He has extended the war on women. Hate crimes have risen by 800 percent after he offered his support for white supremacy. Trump has fulfilled Paul Ryan’s plan of forcing the middle class to pay more taxes, and is now able to attack Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

So, what will happen in 2018? My only fear is that millions of uninformed Americans will believe that what they experience in the first year of Trump’s tax plan is the future, when in fact their future will be reversed in three years. I hope that the American people will hear the truth and believe it. They must ignore the lies from Republicans.

If we band together, and convince our families, friends and neighbors to go to the polls on November 6, 2018, The United States of America will once again belong to the people. Republicans are our enemy. They are wealthy and support only themselves and their biggest donors.

Trump is a failure, and he will only become worse. Join the rebellion; be on the side of freedom, justice, compassion, and patriotism. Please re-post and spread the truth; thank you.
