“Climate change is a hoax created by the Chinese.” This is what Trump said during the campaign. This expression of ignorance and a choice to deny the facts should have disqualified him from becoming the president. If our nation, the second largest polluter in the world, fails to address the greatest danger to our planet, we will be guilty of thousands of deaths and great destruction in the very near future.

I am uncertain if Trump is making this ridiculous claim to support his wealthy friends, and allow them to pollute the air, water and land, or if he actually believes what he says. If he truly believes his own words and denies the proof offered by 98 percent of the world’s climatologists, he is far less intelligent than I once believed. Our country deserves much better.

The end of 2017 will be remembered by Americans who live in the east by a severe cold front. Eerie, Pennsylvania, will have received at least 56 inches of snow by the beginning of 2018; an all-time record. Your ignorant and illegitimate president has taken this opportunity to once again display his stupidity, and his non-existent sense of humor. Of course he did it with tweets; fearful of satirical criticism from real people. He is a dedicated coward.

“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!”

One more.

“Ice storm rolls from Texas to Tennessee – I’m in Los Angeles and it’s freezing. Global warming is a total, and very expensive, hoax!”

Let’s begin with a perfect example of how ignorant Trump is.

‘Global Warming’ is not a term anyone who understands what is happening to the world uses. ‘Climate change’ is an accurate description of the destructive force which is in the process of destroying the planet. Droughts and extreme heat in the American west and western Europe are a single effect of changes in our worlds climate patterns. Record ice falls, snowfalls, and freezing temperatures are the result of the same environmental changes around the world. Hurricanes; far more severe than any in history, kill men, women, and children, while destroying land and the structures upon them are another example. More frequent and destructive tornadoes are caused by climate change.

Today is December 30, 2017. I live just north of Reno, Nevada. We do not always have a “White Christmas,” but there is usually snow falling in the mountains during this time of the year. We are experiencing freezing temperatures at night and near 60 degree temperatures during the day, with no precipitation of any form in the near future. This is not normal.

Okay; if you agree with “president Dumbenstein” I am sorry that you stepped out of line when brains were handed out. And if you have a beachfront home, I hope you will sell it soon; unless you prefer living underwater.
