Trump made dozens of promises and has failed to keep one. His tax bill cannot be considered an accomplishment; it harms the very people he promised to help. Trump promised to end the Opioid crises. His solution was to put an airhead in charge of the problem; not an experienced medical professional with knowledge about addiction. Kellyanne Conway is a joke.

Trump’s next fail is also health related. The Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/Aids is now nothing but a memory. The council’s executive director, B. Kaye Hayes, stated that the latest firings were a move to “bring in new voices.”

In June six members of the council resigned and made this statement.

“We cannot ignore the many signs that the Trump Administration does not take the on-going epidemic, or the needs of people living with HIV, seriously,” wrote Schoettes, the HIV project director for Lambda Legal, a civil rights organization focused on the LGBT community and people living with HIV. Schoettes was appointed to the advisory council during the Obama administration.

Let’s be completely honest here. This is the act of a white supremacist. The nation’s facing the greatest danger from HIV/Aids are on the continent of Africa. Trump has absolutely no interest in the health and well-being of black men, women, and children. This follows his mishandling of the disaster in Puerto Rico which has gone unnoticed for months. The 3.4 million American citizens on the island are mostly Hispanic.

Let’s end this with the truth; Trump represents less than one-half of all Americans. Only white men and women, who claim to be ‘Christian,’ receive any attention from their illegitimate president.
