Trump just gave himself and our large corporations huge tax breaks, while lessening the quality of life for most Americans when traitorous Republicans passed his “Tax Act.” The next step into reshaping our nation into a plutocracy is another gift to the major oil companies.

“BREAKING: AP sources say Trump administration moves to sharply expand offshore drilling, including in Pacific Ocean for first time in decades.”

In another step which could cause enormous damage to our oceans and shorelines, Trump is giving away America to the wealthy, and endangering our environment even further.

Our nation should have learned its lesson after the tragedy of the “Deepwater Horizon.” It has been seven years since an improperly capped well spewed deadly crude into the Gulf Coast. 210 million gallons of oil and 1.8 million gallons of chemical dispersants killed thousands of sea creatures, damaged fisheries, and forever altered some of the most beautiful shoreline in America. Eleven crew members died on the Deepwater Horizon, and to this day not a single person at Halliburton or BP has been charged with murder or manslaughter. In America the wealthy are never punished for their crimes, and that includes your immoral and illegitimate president.

The bottom line is that the oil companies place profit before people and the environment, and have no interest in safety. In addition, their knowledge about how to safely extract crude and natural gas is limited.

Trump continues to prove that he hates the American people and cares only for his personal wealth and that of other wealthy Americans.
