There have been zero denials from the many individuals quoted in Michael Wolff’s tell all book. Of all the information contained in “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” the most important is the consensus of Trump’s former employees and associates that he is mentally incompetent. Trump is described as a child without the ability to perform the duties of the President of the United States.
It’s not just the stories in Wolff’s book that question his mental acuity, I have called for a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation of Donald Trump for more than a year. Senator Bob Corker entered a measure to investigate Trump’s fitness to hold office. Now a former member of George W. Bush’s administration has called for a full investigation into Trump’s mental competence.
Richard Painter, the former chief ethics lawyer for Bush, was asked if the 25th amendment should be invoked by Katy Tur on MSNBC.
“Well, I think it’s long overdue that we address this issue. Just a few days ago many of us were terrified to see the president of the United States on Twitter communicating to North Korea that his button – nuclear button is bigger than theirs. This is not mentally stable behavior.”
Mr. Painter had much more to say, and you can read its entirety in the attached article.
Trump supporters describe his temper tantrums, efforts to protect his ego, and constant lies as “Trump being Trump.” That may be true, but that Trump is unfit to lead our nation. His decisions are made without any consideration of the consequences of his actions. This is not only un-presidential, it is a danger to world peace.
How long will Republicans allow a paranoid schizophrenic to live in the White House? GOP politicians are the real villains here.
Please re-post; thank you.
