Donald J. Trump has never worked a full day in his life. He was born rich and was never required to make an effort to improve his life or the lives of others. This lifestyle continues today. If Trump is not on a golf course, he’s watching cable television.

This lack of a work ethic, along with his twisted priorities are resulting in the growth of the most important problems facing the American people.

Trump is ignoring the issues which plague our nation. His only interests are increasing his personal wealth through tax cuts and growing his foreign business interests. Beyond that fact, Trump is focused on keeping his campaign promises, including building a costly and unnecessary wall. To accomplish his goals, he is taking money from the working class, low-income Americans, and Americans living in poverty. 

Meanwhile, he has spent more than 90 million taxpayer dollars allowing himself to continue his lavish lifestyle.

America’s tourism industry is enormous. If it were to collapse, our nation’s economy would immediately enter into a depression. Tourism is affected by multiple issues, and Trump is both ignoring, and creating many of them.

Trump is ignoring real immigration reform, increased violence in America, and an unfriendly environment created by increased activity and a growing presence of white supremacists.

Trump’s Islamophobia has discouraged non-Christians from around the world from considering America as their primary vacation destination.

Trump has never mentioned a single word about white terrorism in America. He has ignored the fact that in the last two years our nation has experienced more mass shootings than days on the calendar. The lives of 58 men and women slaughtered by a deranged domestic terrorist in the tourism city of Las Vegas, and 26 others murdered in a small Texas church have been forgotten by right wing politicians. Hate crimes have increased by 800 percent since 2016; this fact has been ignored by the media and politicians alike. America has gained a reputation for danger equal to Beirut, Iraq, and the West Bank.

Trump is not concerned with these issues. The tourism industry is down four percent. In most industries four percent would be sustainable, but not in an industry which relies on a positive image. This decrease is critical and affects international and domestic air travel, car rental agencies, the hotel industry, the food industry, the retail industry, street vendors, and taxi drivers, just to name a few. However, this is not a priority for your non-working president.

Trump’s lack of mental competency, combined with his inept party, is destroying America piece by piece. He is isolating our nation from the rest of the free world, and has aligned himself with despots including Vladimir Putin, Rodrigo Duterte, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.

Once again; it’s “Dump Trump” time.
