Throughout his first year Trump did little and accomplished less. When he wasn’t at one of his golf resorts, and was actually in the White House, he was watching cable television for most of the day and night, while drinking diet Cokes and eating junk food. Trump has decided to change all of that. He believes that he was working too hard. In 2018, his “executive schedule” will now be from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m., daily; except weekends, holidays, and any time he decides to play golf. His last year’s schedule reveals the truth; Trump will never be in the Oval Office unless there is a photo op.

During the last hear he spent most of his mornings in the residence tweeting, making phone calls and watching television. He arrived at the Oval Office around eleven; or later. CNN reported that he returned to the residence around six in the evening where he ate cheeseburgers and watched more television.

Trump takes credit for many of the continuing successes of President Obama, but has done absolutely nothing to brag about. He is America’s greatest failure.

Maybe that’s a good thing. When actually does do something, he either harms the majority of the American people; takes actions which can only be described as support of white nationalism; or places our nation in danger of a nuclear war.

Meanwhile, Trump has offered nothing which will solve our immigration problem. He has ignored the growing poverty level in America. Our nation is losing jobs in the tourism industry, and after he passed his destructive tax bill and revoked net neutrality, major companies such as AT&T began laying off employees. His policies will allow irreparable damage to our nation’s eco-system. Trump has divided our nation more radically than at any other time since the Civil War. Trump’s partisan policies are moving our nation towards fascism at a blistering pace.

Trump continues to live a life filled with luxury and privilege. Trump has told thousands of lies since November, 2016, but the biggest was that ‘he would be too busy working for the people to play golf.’ It appears that he is too busy playing golf to perform the job for which he was elected.
