“Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart,” the President continued. “Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star … to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius … and a very stable genius at that!”
The former was Trump’s response to multiple evaluations from former members of his White House staff and long-time associates in Michael Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.” For more than one year I have suggested that Trump submit to a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. His erratic behavior and rash actions have encouraged many Americans to question Trump’s mental competency.
Yesterday Democratic Representative Brendan Boyle introduced legislation labeled, the “Stable Genius Act.” This law would require all presidential candidates to undergo a comprehensive medical exam prior to voting day. They would file a Federal Election Commission report “certifying that he or she has undergone medical examination by the medical office under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Navy.”
Just take a moment and imagine what would have happened on November 8, 2016 if such a law existed at that time.
I will end this with two words and two definitions; think about them carefully.
Paranoia: “A mental condition characterized by delusions of persecution, unwarranted jealousy, or exaggerated self-importance, typically elaborated into an organized system. It may be an aspect of chronic personality disorder, of drug abuse, or of a serious condition such as schizophrenia in which the person loses touch with reality.”
Schizophrenia: “A long-term mental disorder of a type involving a breakdown in the relation between thought, emotion, and behavior, leading to faulty perception, inappropriate actions and feelings, withdrawal from reality and personal relationships into fantasy and delusion, and a sense of mental fragmentation.”
Is this your illegitimate president?
Please spread the truth; thank you.
