Most Americans realized that Trump is a white supremacist after his remarks supporting the hate-filled marchers in Charlottesville. Those of us who are political junkies have known this for a long time. The media continues to ignore the truth, and Trump has never been branded with the label.

After Trump’s vile and racist remarks yesterday about Haiti and the nations of Africa, you would think that all of the world would now be telling the truth.

Because the American people are the least informed men and women in the world, thanks to their obsession with television, they failed to understand the tactics Donald Trump used during his campaign and continues using today.

Trump loves to call any legitimate news service ‘fake news’ when he is criticized or depicted in a less than flattering manner. In 1930’s Germany, Hitler referred to the media with a single German word which translates as “lying press.” Trump was obviously aware of this tactic and how successful it was for Hitler, and adopted it for his own use.

Another comparison is how Trump never tells the truth. His lies are so numerous, most reporters have ceased attempting to count them. He is following Hitler’s belief and how effective it seems to have been. Hitler claimed that if he told the same lie frequently, the German people would eventually accept it as fact.

Today Trump has heroes who are ‘Hitler-like,’ including Vladimir Putin, Rodrigo Duterte, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. After nearly one year of tolerating Trump’s illegitimate presidency, and the cowards in the Republican Party who support his destructive proposals, I am surprised that a new flag is not hanging above the White House bearing a swastika or a hammer and sickle.

How much longer will a nation of 320 million people allow a white supremacist to defile the White House? If you previously believed that your vote didn’t count, or that midterm elections were unimportant, look at what happened to our nation on November 8, 2016. Every eligible American must go to the polls on November 6, 2018. We can take our nation back by ridding our nation of traitorous GOP politicians.
