After observing Trump throughout his entire campaign, I made two statements. I was wrong about both of them. I did not believe that the voting public would be ignorant enough to elect the most unqualified and unfit candidate in America’s history. Secondly I predicted that he would be our nation’s worst president after the Electoral College gifted him the presidency, but I underestimated how horrible he could be. He is not just inept at his job, he is the most destructive and divisive man ever to hold an elected position in Washington.

Before the election he had proven himself to be a racist. Just a few months after his inauguration we learned that he is indeed the leader of the white supremacist movement.

I was sure that he would make poor choices for his top advisers, but never believed that these men and women would intentionally make attempts to destroy the agencies they led.

It was no surprise that his first attempt was to repeal Obamacare, but I never imagined how destructive Trumpcare might be if it passed.

His many attempts to prevent Muslims from entering the United States confirmed his bigotry, and his lack of respect for the law.

When he introduced his tax plan, I was positive that several members of his own party would vote against a bill which would be harmful to the working class and be a huge gift to himself and other wealthy Americans.

I never considered the possibility that Republicans would lack the courage to begin an investigation into the charges by 25 women that he sexually assaulted them.

No one could have foreseen how horrific a Donald Trump presidency would be. No one could have predicted that in less than one year he would become the most hated man in the world.

Trump is the biggest mistake ever made by the American people. I never believed that anyone could be worse than George W. Bush, but at least Bush cared about his country.
