Trump began the first job he ever had in 70 years on January 20, 2017. He doesn’t understand why everyone complains about how hard their jobs might be. If you need a break, just jump in your airplane and fly to one of your resorts and play 18 holes of golf. He obviously has little to do when he is in his office. He’s done nothing other than watch television, eat cheeseburgers and drink diet Coke.
Today we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy of peaceful protests. Trump is celebrating the holiday too, he’s playing golf at his international golf course.
When Trump signed the proclamation declaring that January 15, 2018 would be “Martin Luther King Day,” he said the following.
“I encourage all Americans to observe this day with acts of civic work and community service in honor of Dr. King’s extraordinary life.”
I guess he considers golf as his civic duty.
I now know that Trump’s philosophy of life is “do as I say, don’t do as I do.”
Does anyone remember Trump complaining about President Obama playing golf and promising his supporters that he would be different?
“I’m going to be working for you, I’m not going to have time to go play golf,” he told supporters in Virginia.
To date Trump has played nearly 100 rounds of golf. Between his rallies and trips to his resorts, he has spent less than two-thirds of his first year in the White House. For Trump, the presidency is a paid vacation.
Maybe we should send him on a permanent golf vacation.
Please tell others the truth; thank you.
