Arkansas voters damaged our nation’s basic principles when they voted for Tom Cotton in 2012 and then 2014. As a Representative and then a Senator, he has constantly ignored the Constitution, ethics laws, and protocol as he attempts to ‘make a name for himself.’ For me, and others like me, he has succeeded. Cotton is a Trump lackey who has exposed himself as the worst of the worst party in American history.

I must inform the people of Arkansas that Cotton has no interest in you, your family, or the future of the United States of America; he is only interested in himself and his political ambitions.

You might remember Cotton’s first effort to ‘make a splash’ in Washington when he wrote a letter to the leadership of Iran in an attempt to force the failure of President Obama, and John Kerry’s nuclear arms agreement. Now he wants to shut down the government.

Right wing extremist, Ted Cruz, fought for a government shutdown five years ago, not it’s traitor Tom Cotton’s turn. Last week a bipartisan panel of six senators formulated a plan to reform immigration policy. It included the support of DACA. Trump has reversed his stated position and has rejected the proposal. His toady, Tom Cotton, is supporting the president’s position. We should not be surprised. We listened to him lie for Trump recently when your illegitimate president confirmed the fact that he is a White Supremacist.

Here’s what Cotton tweeted as he blamed Democrats for his party’s failures; again.

“So Democrats are now threatening to shut down the government if they don’t get amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants. Let’s see how that works out for them, especially in places like WV, IN, MO, ND, & MT.”

For nearly a year there has been no bipartisan effort in Washington. With Republican control of both houses of congress, they have acted in a fascist manner, excluding any representation from the left side of the aisle.

Now, for the truth. This is a factual and direct quote from the ‘dailykos.’

“You, Mr. Cotton, and your shithole president are who are standing in the way, and who will force a government shutdown. Your party is the one in control here. It is your party’s responsibility to find a way to govern. The whole nation. Not just for the white people.”

I couldn’t have said it better.
