Let’s end all of the hyperbole offered by the television news networks. Any of them who allowed liars from the right, such as Tom Cotton, Steven Miller, and others to suggest that Democrats played any part in the government shutdown are perpetuating the evil which is the Republican Party. This debacle can only be blamed on one man; Donald John Trump.

Trump does not have a clue about what his job entails. He has absolutely no control over the day to day operations in the White House, and has not taken a leadership role in these negotiations. His days are spent on one of his golf courses or watching television, while eating fried chicken, McDonald’s cheeseburgers, and washing it all down with diet Coke. He has no experience at any level of government, and has refused to learn anything about the responsibilities of the job millions of ignorant Americans gifted him. This has resulted in a year of failures and is the reason why his one-year anniversary has been celebrated with a government shutdown.

This is the ‘Trump Shutdown.’ He reneged on his promise to support a joint, bipartisan solution, and has now stated that no negotiations will resume regarding immigration until the budget is passed and government reopens.

I support the Democrats for one huge reason. In the last year I and millions of other Americans have learned that Trump and McConnell are liars, and cannot be trusted about anything.

Now is the time to insure that included in a budget, which gives away billions of dollars to wealthy Americans, and the Pentagon, who will waste 50 percent of that allotment, are important issues to real Americans, including CHIP and DACA, as well as other social programs supporting the majority.

These important issues can no longer be postponed.

Republicans control all three branches of government, and today is the time to halt their fascist rule.

Trump is not a leader, he is a bully. Bullies can easily be defeated; it just takes one individual with the courage to challenge them. Republicans are cowards and lack the backbone to denounce Trump. Today, America’s women are standing up to the most immoral and unfit man ever to defile the White House, and Democrats appear to be listening to them.

This is Trump’s government, and he has failed his party, his people, and himself. The term is ‘loser.’
