This weekend’s disaster known as the ‘shutdown’ revealed that Donald Trump had no participation in its outcome. The decision to reject the inclusion of DACA into the mix was made by Chief of Staff John Kelly and adviser Stephen Miller. Both men are well known supporters of white nationalism and xenophobia. They believe that only wealthy, white men should be allowed to immigrate to the United States, although, it is the working class immigrant who has contributed most to our nation’s future.

Reports from the White House claim that Kelly may be on his way out. It has also been reported that Ivanka wants his job.

I am not a fan of most former generals. They are autocrats who have lived lives of privilege. They are all too frequently obsessed with their power. However, once again Trump has proven that he has no class and is a buffoon. Showing absolutely no respect for his former or present positions, the moron in the White House has referred to Kelly as “another nut job.”

Although sources from the White House do not believe that his departure is imminent, Trump is upset with Kelly’s continual claim that he is ‘the adult in the room.’

“The more Kelly plays up that he’s being the adult in the room—that it’s basically combat duty and he’s serving the country—that kind of thing drives Trump nuts,” Vanity Fair reported, citing “a Republican close to the White House.”

The latest dispute arises from Kelly’s attempt to describe Trump’s naivete when he promised his supporters a wall between Mexico and the United States. He called Trump’s suggestion ‘uninformed,’ and that a solid, 30 foot wall would never become a reality. This was Trump’s response.

“The Wall is the Wall, it has never changed or evolved from the first day I conceived of it,” he tweeted early Thursday. “Parts will be, of necessity, see through and it was never intended to be built in areas where there is natural protection such as mountains, wastelands or tough rivers or water.”

Here’s the truth; it’s a stupid idea. Not only is it unnecessary, in 2018 there are far more efficient and less expensive methods to protect our border. Trump is living in the 1950’s when he still had hair.

The most hilarious part of this story is to entertain even the thought of Ivanka as Chief of Staff. We do not need the blond airhead of the Trump klan more involved in our government. She is not qualified to run her clothing business.

This nation of ours is really ‘messed up.’
