The polls prove that the Republican Party is in serious trouble. Extremists now control the House, and will soon destroy the Senate. Trump’s destructive presidency has allowed the inmates to take over the asylum. If you haven’t heard the name Trey Gowdy, you obviously don’t like fairy tales. Gowdy is a Republican member of the House from South Carolina. He is the ‘Alex Jones’ of congress, creating conspiracy theories with absolutely no basis in fact. He is guilty of wasting tens of millions of taxpayer dollars investigating Hillary Clinton and the tragedy in Benghazi with zero results. He didn’t create the fake investigation just once, he attempted to discredit the former Secretary of State seven more times.
Gowdy has found a new way to waste time and taxpayer money. He is now writing a new fairy tale. He has focused all of his time attempting to discredit the FBI in an attempt to distract the investigation of Trump’s collusion with Russia during the 2016 election. The following is a preface to his next fake endeavor.
“The day after the election, the day after what they really, really didn’t want to have happen, there’s a text exchange between these two FBI agents, these supposed to be objective, fact-centric FBI agents, saying perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society,” [Rep. Trey] Gowdy said. “So, of course I’m going to want to know what secret society are you talking about because you’re supposed to be investigating objectively the person who just won the electoral college.”
Conspiracy theorists always point to a ‘secret society.’ The truth is that the entire world was in shock on November 9, 2016. Personally, I found it impossible to believe that Americans elected a fascist to lead our nation in a backwards direction. Our president was not the most qualified candidate in history, who just happened to be a woman, it was a man who was not only unfit to lead, but lacked the intellect to become the most powerful man in the world.
Gowdy’s latest conspiracy theory is based on this commonality, and nothing more. His goal is to save his fuhrer. He, like every man and woman in America, knows that Trump and his campaign staff are guilty of collusion with Russian agents. He is attempting to hide the truth.
Gowdy is the poster boy for what is wrong with the Republican Party. His focus is not serving the people of South Carolina, it is on his party and winning elections. Any member of the media who offers Gowdy time to voice his fake theories and confuse the truth is advancing the cause of right wing extremism.
Republicans are the enemy; every one of them. Time for real change, and time to make Trump a lame-duck president. Vote on November 6th and remove our adversaries from the House and Senate.
