Donald Trump is a big fan of Steve Wynn. Sexual predators must stick together. Trump has yet to answer the allegations of 25 women who have accused him of sexual assault. Similar to Harvey Weinstein, Wynn has been accused of sexual misconduct which occurred over more than a decade.
The Wall Street Journal talked to more than 150 present and former Wynn employees, most of whom refused to speak on the record for fear of damaging their careers. However, a couple of dozen women have shown the courage to claim sexual harassment by Mr. Wynn.
In 2005 a manicurist received 7.5 million dollars in exchange for her silence after Wynn forced her to have a sexual encounter with him.
Wynn is currently the finance chairman for the RNC. Wynn donated $729, 217 to Trump’s inauguration fund, and called him a ‘good friend.’
As all wealthy and powerful men do, Wynn is denying all charges that he has assaulted any woman. Trump, Wynn, and dozens of other sexual predators have used the same tactic repeatedly; blame the women. For more than 100 years, since women entered the workforce, men have used their positions of power to force women to comply with their sexual urges; this is not a secret.
Women have remained silent for fear of losing their employment, and the embarrassment of having been used as a sex object. This is changing today. With the emergence of the #MeToo movement, hundreds of women have come out to tell their stories.
2018 will be the ‘year of the woman,’ and it began with enormous marches on January 20 and 21. Women are filing their intentions to run for political office in record numbers. More women are now enrolled in our colleges and universities than men. Not only are women voting in record numbers, they are working to encourage other women to go to the polls in November. They will lead us out of the darkest time in our nation’s history. Defeating Trump means taking away his power. Removing Republicans from office will save America.
