I have been telling you for years that the Republican Party no longer exists. These ‘Republicans in name only are traitors to the working class. They have proven this fact by bowing to every demand from their fuhrer. However, even without Trump they were rapidly imploding. It all began in 2010 when billionaires like the Koch brothers bought seats in the House. The advent of the TEA Party, which now calls itself the ‘Freedom Caucus,’ brought unqualified men and women to Washington who refused to deliberate not only with Democrats, but with moderates in their own party. The word ‘compromise’ was removed from their vocabulary.

But here’s the truth. They are liars. Although they constantly complain about government spending they have ignored the enormous waste Donald Trump has created in one year.

Snopes reviewed his many trips to Trump properties and his rallies, combined with the cost of Melania and Barron remaining in New York for much of 2017. In his first nine months in office, his immediate family cost taxpayers $147 million; or $16,333,333.33 per month. Conservatives have proven themselves to be hypocrites.

“I’m not only a ‘no.’ I’m a ‘hell no,’ ” quipped Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), one of many members of the TEA Party-aligned Freedom Caucus who left a closed-door meeting of Republicans saying they would vote against the deal.

During negotiations for a yes vote on Trumpcare and tax reform, Pauly Ryan capitulated to the Freedom Caucus, much the same as his predecessor, John Boehner. Will he do the same now? If he does, he will not have any votes from Democrats.

“This spending proposal is disgusting and reckless — the biggest spending increase since 2009,” conservative Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) tweeted after the meeting. “I urge every American to speak out against this fiscal insanity.”

If you believe these two extremists, you have been conned again by the Republican Party. They approved ‘tax reform’ although it will add $1.8 trillion to the deficit; that’s right trillion with a “t.”

The truth is that they are white supremacists who are opposed to a path to citizenship for the “Dreamers.” There are no persons of color in the TEA Party or the Freedom Caucus.

Unless Republicans agree to demands by Democrats, the government will be shut down.

In 2012 Trump said that ‘a government shut down must be blamed on the person at the top.’ His failed party controls congress. This will be a choice made by Trump, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan.

It has been reported that the $30 billion Trump is demanding for his unnecessary wall is not included in the budget. If this is true, Trump has stated that he will not sign it. If it is added, and members of the Freedom Caucus approve it, they will have proven that they are willing to accept their government wasting money. Hypocrites.

We have the worst government in the world. They are self-serving and refuse to serve the American people. The party of special interests has forced our nation’s government to become dysfunctional.

We can change that in November; VOTE!
