Trump is a 71 year old ‘dirty old man;’ and the world knows it. As charges of domestic violence have forced two of his aides to resign in just a few day, Trump has attacked the women and virtually called them liars, in the same manner in which he defended child molester, Roy Moore.

There may be a reason for this, and it might be the history of Donald Trump himself related to an ex-wife and other women he encountered throughout his life.

Trump and his first wife, Ivana, were divorced in 1992. The financial terms were settled out of court. Insiders claim that one of the reasons Trump divorced Ivana was because ‘her breast implants didn’t feel right.’

During the proceedings, Ivana signed a deposition claiming physical violence and rape. A story published in Vanity Fair described an incident which occurred after Trump made a visit to her plastic surgeon. He was to receive a ‘scalp reduction.’

He was very angry, claiming that it was botched. He proceeded to pull her around the room by her hair and eventually raped her violently. After the out of court settlement, she withdrew the deposition.

In October of 2016 a tape from the show ‘Access Hollywood’ revealed Trump bragging about the fact that he was a sexual predator. Since that time 25 women have accused him of sexual assault; 19 of which have offered their names and the dates and places the attacks occurred.

A couple of weeks ago, an adult film star who goes by the name of ‘Stormy Daniels’ appeared in the news. Trump had an affair with the woman, and eventually paid her $130,000 in hush money. A former Playboy Magazine model, who later became a porn star, alleged a similar relationship.

Dozens of women have come forward to accuse wealthy and powerful men of sexual harassment and sexual assault in the last six months. These sexual predators have all lost their jobs, families, and reputations. But not Donald Trump. His failed and hypocritical party has allowed him to commit violations against the constitution and crimes against the ethics laws, as well as refusing to investigate multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

These charges must not be forgotten or ignored. This man cannot be allowed to have the title of President of the United States.

Monday is the one ‘holiday’ of the year I ignore. When I was a young man we celebrated Abraham Lincoln’s birthday on February 12^th, and George Washington’s birthday on the 22^nd. Both men deserved our praise. One-half of our presidents do not deserve to be honored with a national holiday, and Donald Trump is at the top of that list.
