Trump’s ‘Ifrastructure Plan’ is an Attempt to ‘Pass the Buck’ and Pay for his Wall

Infrastructure

Trump’s most frequent claim at his hate-filled rallies was that ‘he would build a wall, and Mexico would pay for it.’ All sensible Americans knew two things; the wall was unnecessary, and that Mexico would never pay for it. If it was built, the American taxpayer would bear the cost of Trump’s ‘personal monument.’

Now that corporate America and the wealthiest Americans have been given huge tax breaks, our nation does not have the funding for a wall which will do nothing with the exception of make America appear even more racist.

Trump announced his ‘plan’ to repair our nation’s crumbling infrastructure. It’s not a ‘plan,’ it is an attempt to pass the buck to the states and private industry. His solution would offer only $200 billion of the $2 trillion dollars from the federal government which is needed to accomplish what is necessary. He expects state and local governments, along with private business to supply the remainder. In turn they will receive grants, loans, and lines of credits.

Will this work? Hell no. This is nothing more than another effort to create a program based on ‘trickle-down economics.’ It has never worked, and it never will.

Trump’s fiscal policies will bankrupt our nation and place it into a recession; and Republican politicians will allow him to achieve this disaster. They are incompetent. Governing in an effective manner is not possible for the party’s failed leaders, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan.

Here’s the final fact. Trump’s ‘plan’ would fall $500 billion short of what the American Society of Civil Engineers tells our government is needed. Even if Trump’s fantasy worked, the total amount of funding would be only $1.5 trillion.

How long will Washington allow this immoral and ignorant man to rule over our nation? How long will they accept his failures and his efforts to end democracy in America?

We must rid our nation of our enemies. Republicans support their fuhrer and are ignoring 320 million Americans. Vote.
