The Book Will Be Titled: ‘Trump and the Dysfunctional White House’

Cabinet

In 2021, when Trump is exiled to his golden tower, someone will write a book about his four long and failed years in the West Wing. It will be non-fiction, and a dark comedy.

Not only has this administration accomplished the least in its first year than any other in history, what it has done is harmful for most Americans.

Here’s where Trump and his circle of sinners are today.

Recently an immigration bill written inside the White House received only 39 votes in the senate. In the House Lyin Paul Ryan decided that it had no chance, and never conducted a vote. Trumpcare was a disaster, and although most Republicans bowed to their fuhrer and voted in favor of removing healthcare from millions, a few courageous souls defied the orange man and defeated the poorly constructed bill.

Nothing of significance has been brought to the floor with the exception of what Republicans call ‘tax reform.’ It is nothing more than a gift to Trump and other wealthy Americans. The tax breaks for wealthy individuals and corporations are permanent, while the cuts for the middle class will expire in two years. After that they will begin paying for the cuts for the wealthy.

Sensible immigration will never happen unless Democrats borrow a spine. If they capitulate to Republicans once again, the Dreamers will be deported, and Trump’s devotion to his white supremacist beliefs will win once again.

The problem with our dysfunctional government is the result of the proven fact that Republicans are unable to govern, and they and Trump have intentionally eliminated our two-party system. They are moving America into the conditions experienced in 1930’s Germany.

To say that Trump’s presidency is destructive and a complete failure is understating the truth. The White House staff is filled with posers. None of them are qualified to run a coffee stand. Trump has surrounded himself with fellow white supremacists, xenophobes, homophobes, misogynists, and plutocrats. This is ineffective when viewed from the inside and out. The turnover in key positions in the White House is both historical and hysterical.

Trump will not be missed, and he will not be forgotten. If we survive until 2021, our nation’s people will never forget the biggest mistake they every made.
