Let’s take a look at the worst senator ever to violate our nation’s august chamber. He has been called the ‘most hated man in Washington.’ Lindsey Graham once joked that “If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you.”

Cruz’ history is despicable and proves that he cannot be trusted or believed. During the 2016 campaign, Cruz was the last Republican candidate to remain in contention for the presidential nomination, and possibly defeat Donald Trump. 

The battle between Trump and Cruz did not involve a single issue. Everything was personal and another of many embarrassments in American politics. Trump won the battle by becoming the most disgusting man in political history. He attacked Cruz’ wife, Heidi, virtually calling her grotesque, and accused Cruz’ father of conspiracy in the assassination of JFK. Cruz’ response was weak, but true, calling him unfit for the presidency and a disgrace to America.

After Trump won the nomination, Cruz acted in true hypocritical Republican fashion, and became one of Trump’s biggest supporters.

Cruz is one of just eight Republican senators who is up for reelection in November. He is arrogant enough to believe that the Republican voters of Texas will guarantee his reelection. His future may be in jeopardy.

As Trump’s popularity continues to fall, Cruz is slightly vulnerable. He has been exposed as a fake-Christian. He has also become known as a senator who has offered only destructive efforts in Washington and has not a single positive piece of legislation to his credit in almost six years.

Cruz was elected as a member of the TEA Party. His seat was bought and paid for by billionaires including the Koch brothers and Sheldon Adelson. His promise to his benefactors was to destroy our government and disrupt the Republican Party. In his first year in office his duty was to shutdown our government. In addition his name would become well-known, and his ambition to become our nation’s president was his only goal, and the goal of his billionaire supporters. But he’s not giving up.

Cruz’ future is in jeopardy, and that’s a good thing. The ‘Dallas Morning News’ has declined to endorse Cruz. Instead, they issued the following evaluation of Cruz’ failures.

“Cruz’s elbows have been so sharp and his disdain for deal-making so pronounced, that he’s often stymied his own party’s agenda. In 2013, he helped shut down the government to protest the Affordable Care Act. Even fellow GOP senators criticized the effort as grandstanding. Upset over a setback over the Export-Import Bank in 2015 he called the Senate’s Republican leader a liar, poisoning prospects for progress.”

The one thing Cruz lacks in his ambition to become relevant is the one thing that Trump can rely upon; the support of Vladimir Putin.

Trump has an entire nation which supports him, and it is not the United States of America. Cruz is the scum which is left when the swamp is cleaned.

Cruz is a con man who is not as talented as Trump; he is nothing more. He has no principles and no morals. He is a faux-Christian who has two gods; money and power.

Evangelicals have proven themselves to be two things in the last year; fake Christians, and a group opposed to our Constitution.

One party has proven itself to be the enemy of the majority of the American people. We can defeat the enemy with the most powerful weapon in our nation; our vote. If Republicans are removed from power, the people will take back our nation. American needs heroes, and as of today they are all on the left side of the aisle.
