At CPAC a single Republican had the Courage to Speak about Trump Sexual Misconduct; One Woman

new-republican-logo

Old, white, rich, Republican men must get ready to move out of the way; the women are coming, and they have a goal; to take control of America. Together they will march, vote, and run for office. Nothing can stop them; they are tired of being ignored, tired of being treated as second class citizens; and refuse to receive less pay for their efforts in the workplace. They will denounce and punish men who continue to sexually harass and sexually assault them.

One woman stood before the right wing extremist gathering at CPAC; the misnamed ‘Conservative Political Action Conference;’ and talked about sexual predator Roy Moore, wife beater Rob Porter, and included President Trump in the discussion.

Mona Charen is a long-time writer for the ‘National Review.’ Sitting on a panel, she said that Republicans must not condone sexual misconduct in their own White House.

Because he happens to have an ‘R’ after his name we look the other way, we don’t complain. This is a party that was willing to endorse Roy Moore for Senate…even though he was a credibly accused child molester.”

Not only was she talking about Roy Moore, she was obviously referring to former White House Secretary Rob Porter’s domestic violence, and Donald Trump himself. Shouts of “not true” could be heard in the crowd.

Republicans remain in denial. Their illegitimate president is one of many wealthy and powerful men who have been confirmed as sexual predators. In addition, an adult film star, and a former Playboy model have revealed details of affairs with Donny Boy just after Melania gave birth to their son. Trump was also accused by his first wife, Ivana, of physical assault, and rape. After a non-disclosed financial settlement, she recanted her story.

There are many Republicans who have been protected by their peers. Names such Newt Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani, Dennis Hastert, Mark Sanford, John Ensign, Larry Craig, Mark Foley, Bob Packwood, Republican donor Steve Wynn, and more which I do not have the time to list, committed crimes which were hidden by their fellow politicians, and when they were revealed, they were forgiven and then ignored.

This is standard operating procedure for Republican politicians.

Many Republican voters will cast their ballots for anyone who has an “R” next to his or her name, and this is why we have a dysfunctional government.

Fortunately 42 percent of American voters call themselves ‘Indpendents.’ As our nation’s younger voters become the dominate demographic, statistics show that few of them are choosing to be Republican. Calling themselves Independents is first, and wearing the label of ‘progressive’ is second.

Lastly, voting for a party and not for the best candidate displays the ultimate form of ignorance, and why our nation is the least informed country in the world.
