Republicans don’t listen. They ignore the will of the people. The tragedy which occurred on Valentine’s Day began a new phase in American history. No longer will our younger citizens ignore the actions and inaction’s of our government. Old, white, greedy Republicans whose lives are grand thanks to voters, hide in the Capitol Building and remain out of touch with real Americans. They and their descendants do not attend public schools. Real American children who do attend those schools are fed up with being targets for killers with military-style weapons. They will no longer accept the fact that their country is the most violent nation in the world.

 White terrorism is a reality and a reality which can be defeated, but GOP politicians continue to look the other way.

Republicans are ignoring America’s students and teachers. Some right wing extremists are spreading lies about our next generation; claiming that they are actors and paid activists. This is very sad, but more importantly, Republicans are signing their own death warrants. This is the next generation of voters, and they will not view Republicans as a political party which represents them. They are leading a new revolution. Millennials, which are our largest demographic can relate to those who are coming into prominence, and will join them in their resistance movement.

Many of these high school students will be 18 before November; nearly all of them will be of voting age by 2020. This is an opportunity for the majority of Americans to take our country back. Republicans have ruled over us for at least 25 years. We must elect politicians who serve us. This is our country, not theirs. Failing to perform the job for which they were elected is not acceptable. We are the masters, and they must accept their place as servants. If they refuse to do so, send them home.
