I love history. The lessons learned from past events in America, and from around the world, offer lessons and information which are invaluable for the future of our own country and the world. As I witness Trump’s despicable regime, I am reminded of 1930’s Germany.

Adolf Hitler was a despotic and evil fuhrer, but he was also a genius. To gain absolute control over his nation, he knew that he had to control the government, and the media. Military might is not enough. If the people refused to support him without questioning is authority, his power would be limited.

His first goal was to remove any opposition in his government. It must become a one-party system with himself as the absolute leader of that party. His decisions; his policies would be implemented without question. There would be no need for elections; no reason for a vote. The fuhrer would be omnipotent. An extreme form of nationalism would unite the nation under one all-powerful man.

Hitler also knew that he must control the media. His agenda must be the only agenda for the entire nation, and dissent was not acceptable. He succeeded in eliminating all other news agencies with the exception of one which was controlled by the state.

Diversity was another danger. One race, and one religion became his goal, and would tighten his control over the people. He had a philosophy which was extremely successful. If you tell the same lie often enough, the people will eventually accept it as the truth. These have become known as ‘alternative facts.’

As Hitler’s power grew, he was able to energize the German people by encouraging anger, hatred, and violence against his enemies; both real and imagined.

If all of this sounds familiar; take an honest look at Trump and his circle of sinners.

For the last 13 months our government has acted in a purely partisan manner. Trump lies when he claims that Democrats must be involved in the decision making. He has control of all three branches of government and fascism has arrived in America. ‘America first’ is Trump’s form of undeserved ‘nationalism.’

He continues to berate all of our legitimate news agencies, and praise Fox Noise. Any human being with even average intelligence is aware that Fox is nothing but a right wing propaganda machine. Lies are accepted and ‘standard operating proceedure’ for Fox personalities. Trump and Jeff Sessions have made multiple attempts to repeal free speech by removing first amendment rights from all Americans.

Like his mentors, Hitler and Putin, he rejects diversity in all forms. He is a white supremacist who has deep hatred for minorities, Muslims, Jews, and anyone else who is not a white Christian. Trump learned from Hitler that lying is often successful. His supporters continue to believe in their fuhrer, although every statement he has made since 2015 is a blatant lie.

It is imperative that Fox Noise change its name. It is now referred to as “Trump TV” by progressives, and this should be its new name. They refuse to offer one iota of criticism towards your illegitimate president. Facts mean nothing to this pretend news agency.
