Many of us who offer the truth the media refuses to tell you warned the American people that Trump’s tax reform plan was nothing more than a gift to himself and other wealthy men and women. It would harm the working class and increase poverty, while adding $1.8 trillion to the deficit. Democrats now have more proof that assertions by myself and other loyal Americans are indeed fact.

Before hypocritical Republicans voted on Trump’s bill, one technical paper went missing from the Treasury Department’s Office of Tax Analysis. The missing paper was titled “Distributing the Corporate Income Tax: Revised U.S. Treasury Methodology” This was a 2012 update to a 2008 report from the Bush administration that a corporate tax cut would result in an unbalanced distribution of wealth. 82 percent of the funds would go to capital, and only 18 percent to labor.

Let’s return to the facts; facts which should have prevented an entirely partisan vote in favor of the despicable bill, even without this disturbing information.

Let’s begin with corporate taxes. The previous maximum rate was 36 percent. However, the actual taxes collected averaged only 18 percent. The maximum rate is now 20 percent, which means that corporations will pay less than 18 percent, and greatly decrease our nation’s annual revenue base. These tax cuts are permanent.

Our wealthiest Americans also received permanent tax cuts. The middle class will lose their tax cuts in 2020, and will begin to pay for the permanent tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. The party who claims to be opposed to government spending has allowed Trump to add the aforementioned $1.8 trillion to the deficit. Once again, our second party has become the “Party of Hypocrites.” They are now what they once called Democrats; the ‘tax and spend party;’ but in this case it is the wealthy who will be spending your tax dollars.

For yourself and your family, vote on November 6^th; Republicans must be voted out of office and return our nation to the majority.
