Because it’s simple and the right thing to do, Republicans will refuse to do it. The truth is that assault rifles and high output magazines are of no use to anyone else other than the military. They have a single purpose; to kill multiple numbers of the enemy in a short period of time. No civilian ‘needs’ a toy which is designed to kill other men and women. Banning these weapons of mass destruction would basically eliminate tragic events such as those which occurred in Las Vegas on October 1, 2017; at a church in a small Texas town last November; and the recent slaughter of students and educators in Parkland, Florida, on Valentine’s Day. Many of the 58, 26, and 17 men, women, and children would be alive today. There can be no argument that this is true.

Because the NRA owns GOP politicians, this will not happen unless the American people, led by high school students place enormous pressure on our government. We can do that with out vote. Any politician who takes money from the NRA must be voted out of office.

So what actions are Republicans taking to protect our children? Their first response is always ‘more guns;’ arm our teachers and janitors. Their only other effort is to hold ‘terrorist attack drills.’ If a white terrorist, with a killing machine enters their school, they will know how to find a ‘safer’ place. In other words, they are teaching our children to be fearful of a possible murderer in their midst.

Is this acceptable to you? Are you willing to allow Republicans to continue their use of fear tactics to win votes? This is additional proof that GOP politicians are incapable of governing, and have no practical ideas. One entire party has failed America.

How much longer will Republican voters continue to cast their ballots for men and women for the sole reason that they have an “R” next to their names? This is the highest level of stupidity a human being can display. We must vote for candidates who serve the American people; no political party deserves your unfettered loyalty. We can end their reign of terror, and halt their efforts to move our nation from a democratic republic into a fascist state.

Please vote on November 6^th; save your country and your loved ones.
