Who is Betsy DeVos? Those who know who and what she is describe her as the ‘most hated member of Trump’s cabinet.’ She is Trump’s Secretary of Education.

Who she is makes us shake our heads. DeVos and her husband have donated millions of their billion dollar fortune to Republican candidates. She is a Christian extremist who has been an adamant critic of public schools. Her goal is to destroy the public school system and switch to a voucher system where all children will attend private schools.

What she doesn’t know; her overall lack of experience in any governmental system; will harm inner city children beyond repair. She fails to understand many problems with her personal goals. One of the most important is ‘how would these inner city children be transported to schools in the suburbs, and how and where would they receive after school care?’

DeVos has one qualification for her position; she is extremely wealthy. All of her proposals have exposed her as a racist and a homophobe.

Trump has given another challenge to this ignorant woman; she is charged with solving gun violence in America. I’m not making this s**t up. Another of Trump’s woefully unqualified advisers is given a task about which she knows nothing. She is an advocate for the NRA. The NRA’s solution, as always, is more guns in schools. She joins the NRA and Trump by suggesting that teachers become armed guards for the children they educate. Most teachers vehemently reject this idea. Republicans refuse to listen to their opinions; again.

When DeVos traveled to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, the students responded with angry texts. They accused her of using the visit as a ‘publicity stunt’ and nothing more. They were justified when an interview on “60 Minutes” exposed the truth.

DeVos joins Trump, Scott Pruitt, Ryan Zinke, Wilbur Ross, Rex Tillerson, Ben Carson, Steven Mnuchin, and others in a circle of sinners which will cause irreparable damage to the agencies they are leading in a backwards direction.

Trump has proven in only 13 months and 19 days that he is the worst president in American history. His biggest mistake has been selecting advisers who are opposed to the very purpose of the agencies they now control.

Trump has a mentor; his name is Vladimir Putin. They are in concert to destroy my America. Plutocracy and fascism are replacing democracy.

Trump is under investigation for collusion with Putin during our 2016 election, but this collusion goes much deeper. They seek the destruction of our system of government and a focus on repealing the Constitution.

Republicans are ignoring these facts in support of their party, not the people. Everyone must vote in November and remove Trump’s power by removing his party from power.
