On the morning of November 9, 2016 my home was quiet. My wife and I were in despair. Reality had become dark and dismal as hope for our nation’s future disappeared. Americans who chose ignorance over the truth gave my beloved nation a death sentence. Sadly, my fears have been confirmed. I sincerely doubted that our country could survive for four years under the illegitimate presidency of the most immoral and self-centered man in the world.
After Trump was gifted the Electoral College, I felt helpless. The only thing that I could do was to offer the truth to anyone who would read my expose of Trump and his circle of sinners.
On February 14th; Valentine’s Day; another lone gunman with another military assault weapon slaughtered 17 of my fellow Americans. This time the attack occurred at a high school in Parkland, Florida. All I could do was cry for the victims and their families. The students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School appeared to be helpless.
Instead of staying in their homes and mourning the loss of their friends, they took to the streets. They marched in protest and held rallies demanding that our government do the right thing and ban assault rifles and high output magazines.
Yesterday students from elementary schools to high schools walked out of their classrooms all across America. They were reminding our government that what had happened one month previously had not been forgotten. The future of our nation will not be ignored by those in Washington who are our nation’s past. I realized that hope was alive and it is in the hearts and minds of the next generation who will be in control of our nation’s local, state, and federal governments in just a few years.
I am proud to be an American once again. Our government in Washington is the enemy, and young Americans have served notice to them that they are encouraging all of our nation’s people to defeat them by voting them out of office if they continue to refuse the demands of the majority.
Here are a few facts which reveal what is wrong in Washington.
The average age in America is 37.8 years of age. The average age in the House is 57 years of age. In the Senate the average is 61. How can old men and women represent all Americans? Time for change. We desperately need more women and younger Americans in our government if we are to move forward and not backwards.
Trump is nearly 72 years old. He is nothing more than a ‘dirty old man.’
