The Trump Effect; How Trump’s Illegitimate Presidency has Increased Hate Crimes and Negative Changes in America

DT

For decades hate groups have been hiding in the shadows. They had been ostracized for decades, and then Donald J. Trump was gifted the Electoral College. Our nation has experienced real change; change which has proven destructive to the principles and the future of the once most respected nation in the world.

Hate crime: “A crime motivated by racial, sexual, or other prejudice, typically one involving violence.”

Mass shootings, the bombings in Austin, physical assault, and the policies of right wing politicians are all hate crimes. Because our law enforcement fails to keep statistics, agencies which study hate crimes can only estimate their numbers from publications in newspapers and other legitimate documentation. Since Trump’s nomination in July of 2016, hate crimes have risen an estimated 800 percent in America. In the 10 days after the 2016 election, the Southern Poverty Law Center reported 900 hate crimes in the United States. This is the ‘Trump Effect.’

With a white supremacist in the West Wing hate groups have come out of those shadows. Minorities, Muslims, Jews, and women are living in fear. Trump’s Attorney General, and fellow white supremacist, Jeff Sessions, has made incarceration of more African Americans, and the deportation of thousands of Hispanics his primary focus.

The question is, are you willing to live in a nation ruled by plutocrats and governed by fascism? If you are, then you continue to be a Trump supporter. If not, you are an American.

Once again I beg you to vote on Nomvember 6th, and encourage others to do the same.
