When voters refused to elect an American as our nation’s president, I knew we were in deep s**t. Long before the facts were released I was positive that Trump and Putin had a close relationship. Before the investigation into his collusion with the Russians during the election began, I watched as Trump selected many of his top advisers whose only qualification was obviously a connection with Vladimir Putin.

I begin with two men most Americans know little about. The story begins with the end of Ted Cruz’ effort to win the Republican nomination for the presidency. Cruz’ primary donor was billionaire Robert Mercer. After Cruz withdrew, Mercer moved his money, Steve Bannon, and Kellyanne Conway to Trump’s campaign.

Mercer is the key. Although there is no public record of connections between him and Putin, he has been recorded several times in close proximity to Russian oligarchs who are Putin allies.

Next is the strange choice of Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State. The proof that he was not chosen by Trump lies in the fact that before he was nominated, the former Exxon CEO and the failed businessman had never met. However, Tillerson has close business and personal relationships with Putin.

Then there is Paul Manafort. The former Trump campaign manager had worked for the deposed President of Ukraine, who was strongly supported by Putin. Now we know that he has been involved with multiple oligarchs and other high-level members of Putin’s inner circle.

Wilbur Ross was Trump’s choice for Secretary of Commerce. He has no experience at any level of government. However, he was the head of the Bank of Cyprus; a bank controlled by; you guessed it; Vladimir Putin.

There are others, including Trump who began a relationship with Putin in 2005.

Today we are aware that most of Trump’s staff has had meetings with Russian agents or Putin himself.

Trump’s call to congratulate Putin after his victory in an election which was simply a facade is unforgivable. Our nation has never given formal recognition to despots. In addition, our security services have proven that Putin interfered with our election which is nothing less than a declaration of war. He is the enemy of every American, and most Republicans are denouncing Trump for his ignorant and treasonous action.

Trump continues to serve his master. These are the lies he tweeted, as he once again refused to face the American people and answer questions about his serious violation of protocol. He is the “twitter president.”

“I called President Putin of Russia to congratulate him on his election victory (in past, Obama called him also). The Fake News Media is crazed because they wanted me to excoriate him. They are wrong! Getting along with Russia (and others) is a good thing, not a bad thing…….

“They can help solve problems with North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, ISIS, Iran and even the coming Arms Race. Bush tried to get along, but didn’t have the “smarts.” Obama and Clinton tried, but didn’t have the energy or chemistry (remember RESET). PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!”

Trump continues to justify his extremely close relationship with Putin. The fact is that Putin is the reason Trump did not declare one or more bankruptcies in 2005. During that year, he was facing the end of his business empire. During the Miss Universe Pageant in Moscow, Trump was introduced to a new money-making venture; money laundering. By 2006, he had become a real estate tycoon. In 2013, he returned to Moscow once again with his beauty pageant. During this trip, Trump and Putin began their collusion to win the 2016 election.

I am not a politician, and for this I am forever grateful; I cherish my principles, my morals, and my dignity. However, the chain of events and a preponderance of circumstantial evidence offers a conclusion which is irrefutable. Trump and Putin have had constant phone conversations in the last two years. Eight times Trump has met secretly in the Oval Office with Russian agents. Trump refuses to accept the truth about Russia and the 2016 election.

Finally Trump has adopted the tactics of Vladimir Putin and Adolf Hitler. First; ‘tell a lie often enough and the people will believe it.’ Second; fascism requires a one-party system; for the last 13 months and 29 days everything in Washington has been conducted under in a partisan matter. Third; gain control of the entire government; the executive, legislative, and judicial system. Lastly, control the media and insure that every alternative fact which comes from the nation’s despot is now offered as fact from a single journalistic source. Vote Republicans from office; end Trump’s reign of terror by removing his power.
