The right wing loves ‘alternative facts.’ The truth is their greatest enemy, so making up s**t is their only defense against the facts.

Trump’s cabinet; yes, the entire cabinet; is unfit to hold their positions, and they are the most expensive administration in American history. Whether we look at Steve Mnuchin who chooses to travel on military aircraft which cost American taxpayers a million dollars for just eight flights, or Scott Pruitt, who cannot take criticism for his many mistakes, and therefore travels in first class, more money has been wasted by Trump and his circle of sinners than by any other politicians in history.

Then there’s Ben Carson. Trump’s Secretary of Housing and Urban Development has ordered office furniture costing tens-of-thousands of dollars. Cabinet members are allowed to spend a maximum of $5,000 to redecorate their offices.

At least one Republican Congresswoman is attempting to protect Carson. Claudia Tenney represents a district in New York state, and has offered her own theory.

“Somebody in the deep state ― it was not one of his people, apparently ― ordered a table, like a conference room table or whatever it was, for a room,” Tenney said. “And that’s what the cost was. Ben Carson tried to — he said, “You know how hard it is to turn it back because of the way that the procurement happens?” Really! Once again, I couldn’t ‘make this s**t up.

Republicans spread conspiracy theories for a single reason; they distract uninformed Americans from the truth. They are supported by the right wing propaganda machine, FOX Noise, and such radicals as Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, and Alex Jones.

Now, remember, Tenney won an election. Voters selected her to represent them. If she represents a district in New York, what and who are these people? Did they actually choose her, or did they simply vote for the candidate who had an “R” next to her name? Either way, this is pitiful.
