Indiana is a dark red state, and it just became more extreme. When Mike Pence was the governor, he supported and signed the first anti-gay law in America. He is a Christian extremist who opposes abortions for any reason. He can be very proud of his home state; it just passed the most intrusive law in America which violates the first amendment rights of women.

Indiana’s new law requires doctors and hospitals to question all women if they have ever had an abortion whenever they seek “treatment for a physical or psychological condition that is in any way connected to a past abortion.”

Failure to report this information to the authorities would result in six months in jail, and a $1,000 fine for each violation.

Of course this law will not stand. It is not only a violation of the first amendment, it is also a violation of the HIPAA Act.

The ‘Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act’ was passed on August 21, 1996. Sections 261 through 264 of HIPAA require the Secretary of HHS to publicize standards for the electronic exchange, privacy and security of health information.

In plain English, this act protects the ‘doctor-patient’ relationship. Nothing is more private than information regarding the health of an individual.

Republicans continue to display their hatred for women. They join their fuhrer in believing that women have a single purpose; to serve the needs of men. They do not believe that the Constitution applies to them.

Indiana and other red states will soon learn that their time is up. Real women are joining together to take what belongs to them. Congress has ignored their needs and demands for far too long.

Here are some facts which frighten the old, white men in local, state, and federal government.

Women compose 50.9 percent of America’s population. Women control the majority of our nation’s wealth. More women are registered to vote than men. The number of women who have filed their intent to run for public office is greater than the number of men. More women are attending our nation’s colleges and universities than men.

The ‘Women’s March on Washington’ on January 21, 2017 revealed that women plan to vote in our elections in larger numbers than at any other time in history. Last Saturday young Americans organized the ‘March For Our Lives.’ Women will support their children’s safety.

Millennials are the largest demographic in America. They are supporting their younger brothers and sisters. Millennials do not consider women to be second-class citizens.

Old, white men must follow women and younger Americans or step aside. They are the past, and no one wants or needs them. Mike Pence is the whitest of the white, and he is an embarrassment to real Americans. The Trump administration is not only filled with white supremacists, they are also misogynists.

We, the people, have the ability to decide where America will be in 10, and even 20 years. We can move forward with the rest of the developed world, or move backwards by supporting Trump and his cowardly and hypocritical party.

If you choose to boldly and proudly move forward into the 21^st century, join the Revolution. It is happening on November 6, 2018. Your vote is more powerful than a nuclear missile. When Republicans no longer control our government, they can no longer control your life. WE are the United States of America.
