It’s time for America to rid itself of one self-proclaimed television ‘star.’ She has been insane for decades and once grabbed her crotch while making a mockery of the Star Spangled Banner at a San Diego Padres Baseball game.

I may be alone in my lack of support for the song which is our national anthem and glorifies war, but the symbolic image it creates deserves more respect than Roseanne Barr displayed at the beginning of a professional baseball game.

Donald Trump loves Barr for a single reason; she displayed support for him on her failed television show. I watched the first two episodes of her re-invented and sad broadcast. They were not funny, and they preached a one-sided opinion of social issues. It will not last. In the sad revival, Barr expressed her support for the most immoral man in America; and continues to do so. Here are her latest fallacious and baseless remarks.

“President Trump has freed so many children held in bondage to pimps all over this world. Hundreds each month. He has broken up trafficking rings in high places everywhere,” she wrote, adding he gets the benefit of the doubt from her.

Her assumptions lack any credibility, and prove that she, like her idol, is void of mental stability.

When public figures disgrace themselves it is sad. Both Barr and Trump are failed television personalities and are members of our failed past. Time to move forward.

We have new leaders in our nation, and they are more than 40 years younger than the average member of congress. We do not have progressive leaders in Washington; we have failed old men. Young Americans are at the forefront of a movement which will rid our nation of the men and women who have failed our nation for more than 25 years.

Old, white, men and women such as Trump and Barr are our dark past. Time for real change; time for our nation to join the rest of the developed nations and not regress into our dark and embarrassing past.

America has never been a ‘great country,’ and under Trump its reputation is in decline. We will never become what our founding fathers dreamed until all Americans are protected by our nation’s government. As long as racism and the many forms of bigotry our nation now supports exists, we are one of the worst nations in the world. Until women are respected as complete equals to men, our nation has failed the dreams of Washington, Jefferson, Monroe, Adams, and all of the others.

Barr is the worst of what America is today. Her support of the most immoral and ignorant man in America is unforgivable.

If you love your country tell your friends and family to turn her failed television show off. There are far better broadcasts to enjoy, including re-runs of ‘Gilligan’s Island,’ and they are more intelligently presented.
