Before I get into the sordid details of the 2016 election, let’s discuss the reality which is the NRA gun lobby. A little history; until 1976, the NRA was a gun safety organization. It was respected by all Americans for its efforts to insure that hunters and other gun enthusiasts used their weapons safely and safeguarded their families when guns were kept in the home. After 1976 it became a lobby for gun manufacturers and gun sellers, and ignored the safety of the 90 percent of Americans who do not own weapons of mass destruction.
Whenever millions and billions of dollars are involved, corruption is creeping around the edges. This is the situation with the NRA. It has encouraged the support of politicians; both foreign and domestic. Yesterday a high-ranking Russian official, who was a card-carrying member of the NRA, was sanctioned by the government of the United States.
A video has been released where John Bolton, Trump’s selection for his third national security adviser in 14 months and 18 days, was speaking in support of Russian Alexander Torshin and his quest for gun rights in America and Russia. Torshin is under investigation by the FBI.
The NRA is also under investigation for its alleged connections with Russian donors who helped fund Trump’s campaign.
My fellow Americans; let’s look at the facts and ignore the cowardice of the mainstream media. The word is collusion and there can be no doubt at this point that multiple members of Trump’s campaign staff met frequently with Russian agents to plan attacks on Hillary Clinton, and aid the goal of Donald Trump to win the presidency. In addition, the facts are there that Russian interference was responsible for the outcome of that election.
Russians may not have altered the voting machines, but they conducted a psychological campaign on multiple fronts, most importantly social media. In addition, billionaire Robert Mercer assisted the Russian’s efforts through his company, ‘Cambridge Analytics.’
Representative Ted Lieu, a Democrat from California, has been investigating Torshin for months.
“Torshin’s influence in Russia and his relationship with the NRA suggest this allegation [that Torshin secretly funneled money to the NRA during the 2016 campaign season] may have merit,” Lieu wrote. “It is deeply disturbing that an organization like the NRA, whose stated purposes and objective is to ‘protect and defend the Constitution,’ would meet with sanctioned individuals connected to a foreign adversary that seems determined to undermine elections.”
Connect the dots; Trump and his staff committed treason during the 2016 campaign. They assisted a foreign nation in altering the results of our election. Time for a trial in federal court for Trump, Jared Kushner, Jeff Sessions, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, Donald Trump Jr., and many others.
Republicans support fuhrer Trump and they must be removed from office. Please vote in November.
