Let’s begin with the “Scooter” Libby situation. Libby, under orders from Dick “the devil” Cheney, exposed Vallerie Plame as an secret agent for the CIA. This was an undeniable act of treason in an effort to protect the expose that the Bush administration lied about the invasion of Iraq. Bush number two commuted his sentence, and today Trump pardoned one of the worst criminals in American history. This is another demonstration that Republicans protect their own regardless of how criminal and disreputable they might be. If this does not convince you that Republicans are the enemy of the American people, you are brain dead.
Republicans, every one of them, are hypocrites. However, the most egregious fact is that they are willing to accept illegal and immoral actions by members of their own party while vehemently demanding maximum punishment for anyone on the left side of the aisle.
It’s not just Scooter Libby, hundreds of Republican politicians have committed serious indiscretions without repercussion. The list is far too long to be included in this article, but I will offer the names of a few of the most depraved; they are Mark Sanford, Newt Gingrich, Dennis Hastert, George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and more recently Tom Price, Steve Mnuchin, and Donald Trump.
They all placed their personal goals ahead of the United States of America and our nation’s people.
The truth is that if you vote for a Republican, you are voting against your country. GOP politicians are composed of liars, hypocrites, and criminals.
Time for change. Independents and Democrats who are younger; and a much larger number of women; these will be the individuals who will lead our nation forward. November 6th has been announced as the day the revolution begins. Join us.
