Where is the Party of Family Values and Fiscal Conservatism?

republicans

For decades Republicans have claimed to be the “party of family values,” and supporters of fiscal conservatism. Then they nominated and elected Donald Trump. The Trump administration is corrupt, and their leader is the most immoral sexual predator in the world. Trump spends more money than any other president in American history. He is also raising the deficit by a minimum of $1.9 trillion.

Here’s the truth. Republicans have never been the party of family values. Their history is riddled with politicians who have committed adultery, men who have committed multiple acts of sexual harassment and/or sexual assault, and engaged in homosexual relationships while denouncing the LGBTQ community. In addition, although they claim to be ‘pro-life,’ when their mistresses become pregnant, they demand that they have an abortion.

As for fiscal conservatism, this is the biggest lie they continue to tell the American people. Republicans reject social programs which would benefit low-income and impoverished Americans, who compose one-half of our nation’s people. However, they are eager to increase the Pentagon’s annual budget, of which at least 50 percent goes to waste, and to serve special interests. Tax breaks for the one-percent of wealthiest Americans and for major corporations are permanent, but tax breaks for the majority will end in just over 18 months. These men and women are Republican in name only. These phony conservatives have formed a new party; the “Trump Party.”

It is entirely erroneous to call this group of cowards and hypocrites ‘Republicans.’ They are so far removed from the Party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, or even Reagan that they cannot claim the title of the “Grand Old Party.”

This is for voters who cast their ballots for candidates for a single reason; there is an “R” next to his or her name; why? You are voting against yourself and your family. Everything they promise during the campaign is a lie; Trump is the perfect example.

Bluntly and honestly stated, political parties suck. They are of no use to voters and fail to act upon the principles they claim to possess. Every real American should be an Independent and vote for the best candidate; the men and women who are most closely connected to your beliefs and your wishes. This would force politicians to campaign in all 50 states and speak directly to the electorate.

Make your vote count on November 6th.
