Rumblings of a Republican Implosion? Jeff Sessions may Be at the Middle of the Revolution

Sessions (3)

Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan continue to prove that they are both cowards and hypocrites. Democrats and several Republicans have called for passage of a rule which would forbid Trump from firing Special Investigator Robert Mueller, but these two continue to bow to their fuhrer and refuse to allow such a measure to come to the floor for a vote.

All Americans are aware that several positions on Trump’s staff remain vacant. An historical number of men and women have resigned or been fired. There could be more.

Trump’s head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, has wasted tens-of-thousands of taxpayer dollars on office renovations, and first class flights. Trump will likely be forced to fire the corrupt ‘oil man.’

Secretary of the Treasury, Steven Mnuchin, has committed similar actions not approved by the White House. He has used private and military aircraft; he believes that he is above traveling on a commercial airline.

Rumors continue that Chief of Staff John Kelly may be fired soon. Trump and Kelly have exchanged in shouting matches when Trump disagrees with Kelly’s attempts to control his rash actions.

Jeff Sessions is now claiming that he will resign if Trump fires his Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The White House Attorney, Donald McGhan, refused to confirm this story.

Trump’s anger at Rosenstein grew after he approved requests from the FBI to search his personal attorney’s office, home, and hotel room. After the searches were completed, it was revealed that Cohen has been under investigation for a lengthy period of time.

Trump has been in office for 15 months and a day. Throughout that time Republicans have accepted and approved Trump’s vile and harmful agenda. How long can they allow the most immoral man in America to attack our democracy and violate the Constitution? When will they stand up to this schoolyard bully? The legislative branch of our government was intentionally given more power than the executive or judicial by our founding fathers. Their primary goal was to prevent what Trump wants to be; a monarch or a dictator.

Without Republican control of both the House and the Senate Trump would have no power. His vile and self-serving agenda would be halted. Every voter must go to the polls on November 6th and remove all authority from this wannabee fuhrer.
