Thanks to a failed mainstream media, most Americans believe that Trump’s illegitimate presidency is the cause of growing racism in America. Not true. He is the reason for an increase of 800 percent in hate crimes related to racism. However these are not new white supremacists, they are merely hate mongers who have come from the shadows now that they have a leader ‘taking a crap’ in the White House.
Trump’s silly red hats were a joke; that we all know. We also know what the true meaning of his slogan was. It actually meant “make America white again.”
I am going to offer the truth. The biggest problems in our nation are racism and bigotry. Because a large percentage of our nation’s people harbor these two vile beliefs, America has never been a ‘great country,’ and never will be until this is no longer a very serious problem.
For the eight years that our nation had a black man in office, many uninformed Americans were led into believing that racism was on the decline; racists and bigots were simply in the shadows, patiently waiting an opportunity to be relevant once again.
If you doubt my claim, take a look at one Republican candidate for the House from the state of Illinois. Arthur Jones won the Republican primary for Illinois’ third congressional district. This would not be news in an ordinary situation, but thanks to Trump’s illegitimate presidency, nothing is ordinary today. Jones is another old, white man. Most significantly, the 70-year-old is a holocaust denier, and an admitted and proud Nazi.
Is this really happening in America? Our nation is our people; not our government or our representatives. I have been a patriot all of my life, which means the people of my country come first. However, situations such as this in Illinois are creating doubt about the future of my country, and the loyalty of many of our nation’s people. Our nation is nothing without our Constitution. We have an illegitimate president who violates the ‘law of the land’ daily. Nazi’s were directly opposed to our nation’s Bill of Rights; the first 10 amendments to the Constitution. Therefore, thousands of citizens from the state of Illinois are not Americans; they deny the value and importance of our Constitution.
The media likes to call these ‘strange,’ or ‘unusual’ times. This is another ‘homage’ to Trump; holding him to a lower standard than any president in history. These are dangerous, frightening, and embarrassing times for nation. Democracy is in danger of being replaced by fascism. We have leaders in Washington who refuse to serve the majority. More time is spent defending Trump and his circle of sinners than working for the people. The first 15 months and five days of the Trump administration have been a waste of time and a waste of millions of dollars for taxpayers.
Finally, racism and bigotry are nothing more than ignorance which fuels hatred and indifference. I have hope for the future, because since Trump’s election I have watched the future in action. Women and our younger Americans are standing up for our nation and the Constitution. They will lead us as the old, white men and women in Washington leave their earthly bonds.
If you did not watch at least a part the “March for our Lives” on March 24th, you failed to see the future of the United States, and it is grand. Most of those in Washington today have failed our nation for far too many years. But change is coming, and I am proud to say that I will proudly and loyally follow these new leaders who are coming forward to restore America’s reputation and respect.
