During the 2016 campaign, Trump ranted and raved about Hillary Clinton’s connections to Wall Street. He promised to ‘drain the swamp.’ Were these campaign lies or promises to be kept? You judge.
When Trump selected his cabinet and closest advisers, he made choices which should have made his supporters shake their heads. All of these men and women are multi-millionaires or billionaires. His administration is a plutocracy. As for Wall Street, Trump has at least five former Goldman Sachs bankers on his payroll. Men from other banking institutions dominate his circle of sinners.
The truth is that Trump owes hundreds of millions of dollars to Wall Street banks; primarily to Deutsche Bank. There are several reasons why Trump is hiding his tax returns from the American people. We know he does not pay tax, but we should be allowed to know the source of his income, and how wealthy he is or is not. Trump is the ultimate con man; this is the story of his life.
One of the most controversial and unfit choices made by Donny Boy is former presidential candidate and neurosurgeon, Ben Carson. Although he was forced to settle several lawsuits for malpractice in civilian life, he remains a multi-millionaire. Trump nominated him as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and Republican senators, in an act of subservience to Trump, approved that nomination. He has zero qualifications to serve as a congressional page, but he is now in charge of caring for our nation’s most desperate men and women.
So how is Trump’s token black man caring for our nation’s most needy citizens? He wants to force poor men, women, and families to ‘pay more rent’ and find employment if they wish to continue to receive assistance.
In the past Carson has called poverty a “state of mind.” The current system, Carson said on a conference call with reporters, creates “perverse incentives, including discouraging these families from earning more income and becoming self-sufficient.” Really? This from another rich man who literally throws money away, and has no compassion for his fellow man.
Let’s look at the facts. Currently our nation has 49 million Americans living below the poverty line. We also have 560 billionaires; more than double, or even triple the number of any other nation with the exception of China, which has an estimated 647 billionaires. The United States has only 4.4 percent of the world’s population. Per capita, we are the wealthiest nation in the world. Another statistic which is related to income is the number of men and women incarcerated in our nation’s prisons. Although we have only four percent of the world’s population, we have 25 percent of all the world’s people in our prisons. Poverty creates crime, contrary to your lying GOP politician’s claims.
The disparity between the one-percent of wealthiest Americans and the 15.2 percent of our nation’s people who struggle below the poverty line is a shame, and should not be a fact.
The United States is ripe for a revolution. Nations which chose communism existed in similar situations to our country today. Income inequality is a fact which is growing every day. Under Trump, plutocracy is a reality.
In addition to Vladimir Putin, Trump has another puppeteer. His name is Robert Mercer. This billionaire has a lifetime goal; to change our nation’s government. He does not like America; he rejects democracy; and he does not support the Constitution.
What’s important to know here is that not only is a plutocracy a government which creates a nation of slaves, it cannot exist without fascism.
Trump has adopted the theories of Adolf Hitler and Putin. With his party in control of congress, our nation is now ruled by one party. Hitler knew that if he was to consolidate all power, he must control the media. Trump calls every legitimate news agency ‘fake news,’ while supporting the right wing propaganda machine, FOX Noise. Trump has faithfully followed one precept Hitler used to gain support from the masses; “if you tell a lie often enough, the people will eventually accept it as the truth.”
With Republicans bowing to their fuhrer’s every demand, our nation is changing. We, the people, are paying for the lives of the one-percent. The middle class is disappearing. The number of Americans living in poverty is growing. Together low-income and impoverished Americans compose one-half of our nation’s people. Social programs are facing reductions in their funding, while the military receives an increase of billions of dollars more every year; one-half of which they waste. The wealthy and corporations have received permanent reductions in their tax rates, which will increase the deficit by trillions of dollars.
Is this the America in which you want to live. Is this the country you want your children and grandchildren to inherit. Are you willing to live in the “Disunited States of Donald Trump?”
This is your country, and the government is only as powerful as we allow it to become. On November 6th we can take that power back. If cowardly Republican politicians are removed from Washington, Fuhrer Trump will become the sniveling coward he truly is . Your choice, and you will make that choice with your vote. Let’s take our country back from our enemies.
