The election of Donald J. Trump by the Electoral College was a travesty. Our system of electing a president by a small group of men and women eliminates the participation of tens of millions of voters in the process. The only sensible way to elect a man or woman to the highest office in the land is to make every vote count. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by nearly three million ballots, but is not sitting behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office today. Trump does not represent most Americans.
Trump is the most unqualified man to ever live in the White House. He is a white supremacist, a plutocrat, and a mentally incompetent con man who is failing the majority of the American people.
This article is not focused on the previous facts; it is about his personal life; a life filled with depravity and a lack of respect for any other human being.
The history of the the ‘Fred Trump Family’ is closely related to that of the Sicilian Mafia who terrorized the United States in the early 1900’s. Trump literally used any methods available to him to increase his family’s wealth. His history as a white supremacist is damning, and his beliefs were passed on to his son, Donald, at a very early age.
The younger Trump quickly learned that money and power were the only things of importance in America’s capitalistic society. Long before today, when women are stepping forward to denounce their attackers, Trump was the poster boy for a sexual predator. We can assume that dozens if not hundreds of women were paid for their silence.
Before he was gifted the presidency by the Electoral College, the press and other media had little interest in the man who had achieved controversy in the business world. When he was involved in divorce proceedings with his first wife, Ivana, court documents offered the American people their first insight into Trump’s level of depravity and sexual deviance.
Trump began an extramarital affair with his second wife, Marla Maples in 1987. This situation eventually resulted in a divorce settlement with Ivana in 1990. Prior to obtaining a lucrative financial settlement, Ivana signed a sworn deposition claiming that her estranged husband had physically assaulted her and raped her after he received ‘scalp reduction surgery’ to hide his advancing baldness, performed by her personal plastic surgeon. When an out of court settlement was agreed to, Ivana reneged her deposition.
During the 2016 campaign video tapes were revealed while Trump made an appearance on ‘Access Hollywood’ where he admitted to the world that he was a sexual predator. As many as 19 women came forward to accuse the Republican presidential candidate of sexual assault during that same time period. Voters who chose ignorance before fact gifted Trump the presidency, and for the first time in our nation’s history, a man without morals became the illegitimate President of the United States.
During the last few months, a porn star and a former Playboy model revealed the fact that immediately after the birth of Donald and Melania Trump’s son, Barron, they engaged in affairs with the orange man. The immediate question became ‘how many affairs over three marriages has Trump been engaged in?’
The latest allegation is the most deplorable of all; and it is supported by Snopes.
A civil suit against Donald Trump alleging he raped a 13-year-old girl was dismissed in California in May 2016, refiled in New York in June 2016, and dropped again in November 2016.
Initially, a woman using the name of Katie Johnson, filed a lawsuit charging Trump with rape 20 years prior to the 2016 campaign. She was not able to afford an attorney. Although her story was corroborated by an anonymous source who used the name of ‘Tiffany Doe,’ it was dismissed.
Legal efforts by Trump’s highly paid attorneys eventually quashed the lawsuits in California and New York, although no proof has been offered by the Trump’s legal team proving the charges to be false. This is another offer of proof that our judicial system is slanted towards the wealthy.
An investigator from Snopes obtained this statement from the woman who calls herself Katie Johnson.
“Defendant Trump had sexual contact with me at four different parties in the summer of 1994. On the fourth and final sexual encounter with Defendant Trump, Defendant Trump tied me to a bed, exposed himself to me, and then proceeded to forcibly rape me. During the course of this savage sexual attack, I loudly pleaded with Defendant Trump to stop but he did not. Defendant Trump responded to my pleas by violently striking me in the face with his open hand and screaming that he would do whatever he wanted.”
Sadly, the majority of our nation’s people believe that the man is more honorable than a woman who has been assaulted by a man with money and power.
I am proud to have been a feminist for all of my 72 years. Sadly, I have witnessed both verbal and physical assault of women by men which were protected by law enforcement and public opinion.
This is a time for change and guaranteeing our nation’s women the respect and equality they deserve. Old, white men have failed our nation for centuries, and it’s time for real change. America’s women will lead our nation forward into the 21st century. Their stories from the past are not dissimilar to those of the children of slaves.
Our nation’s people must destroy the fascists who seek the destruction of our nation. Republicans are our enemies and have proven this fact by supporting the most immoral and anti-American man ever to soil the White House sheets.
Save America, and save your families and friends. Vote on November 6th and send a message to Republicans that they are no longer relevant to our nation’s destruction. The future is ours and we will take it from these failed politicians.
