Ronny Jackson was not vetted prior to his nomination to lead the Veterans Administration, but he is being closely scrutinized today. It was obvious that Jackson was not qualified to lead this enormous agency, but then personal difficulties arose and added to his lack of ability to perform his job. Associates claimed that he was a heavy drinker, and that he had created a ‘toxic work environment.’

Mike Pence’s personal physician was obviously not consulted before Trump nominated Jackson. He had some unsettling opinions about Jackson earlier, and Chief of Staff John Kelly was fully aware of a heated altercation between the two men. Here are his assertions.

“According to copies of internal documents obtained by CNN, Pence’s doctor accused Jackson of overstepping his authority and inappropriately intervening in a medical situation involving the second lady as well as potentially violating federal privacy rights by briefing White House staff and disclosing details to other medical providers — but not appropriately consulting with the vice president’s physician.”

We have known for months that the environment in the White House has been described as ‘chaotic.’ We have also learned that there is no planning involved in most decisions, and that your illegitimate president often ignores suggestions by his advisers.

We will never know, but I would love to discover who actually chose Trump’s nominees for his cabinet and closest advisers from day one. With one or two exceptions, I am positive that it wasn’t Donald Trump. It is easy to assume that certain positions were the choices of Robert Mercer and Vladimir Putin.

Steve Bannon has been supported by Robert Mercer and his daughter Rebeka for years. It is also easy to see his hand in the selection of Betsy DeVos, and Steven Mnuchin. Rex Tillerson is a close business associate and personal friend of Vladimir Putin. Wilbur Ross is a former head of the Bank of Cypress, which is controlled by Putin.

The important fact is that none of these individuals are qualified for their positions, and replacing Tillerson with Mike Pompeo is dangerous. Trump has the least experienced and least qualified men and women in history in his administration. Ronny Jackson was just another poor choice by Trump and his circle of sinners.

We deserve better. We can begin by removing all power from Trump. Vote all Republicans out of office on November 6, 2018. It’s your country; it does not belong to those we elect. If they refuse to serve us, they are undeserving of holding important positions in our nation’s government.
