Evangelicals continue to strongly support Donald Trump. This is proof that the Republican Party and the Christian religious right cannot exist without each other. The Republican Party is imploding, and new converts to Christianity are at an all time low in America.
After Trump’s affairs with Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal were revealed, Evangelical leaders gave Trump a free pass; claiming that he ‘had changed.’ Really!
If you believe these fake-Christians, Trump is the poster boy for the Christian religion. Therefore, we can assume that all ‘Christians’ are white supremacists. All Christians are misogynists. All Christians are bigots. All Christians are liars. All Christians encourage hatred and violence. All Christians are homophobic. All Christians have committed many acts of sexual assault. All Christians pay off the women with which they have affairs and force them to sign a non-disclosure agreement. All Christians support fascism. All Christians believe that money is their one true god. And millions of Americans believe that we should ban Muslims; Amazing! What a country!
A day after Rudy Giuliani exposed the truth that Trump knew about the $130,000 his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, paid to silence his affair with porn star, Stormy Daniels, he held a ‘prayer breakfast’ in the White House rose garden. Trump completely ignored the revelation and made a statement to his fellow fake-Christians.
“Prayer has always been at the center of American life, because America is a nation of believers, right?” Trump said under intense sunlight on the Rose Garden steps. “So true.” Really?
Let’s be clear here; Trump has never said a prayer in his life. He has no compassion and certainly no love for his fellow man as commanded by Jesus Christ. He, nor any member of his family, have ever given a dollar to any charity. The truth is that Trump has stolen money from his own foundation. Is this the definition of a Christian? I am proud to be a member of more than 60 million Americans who refuse to accept organized religion; and I am more proud of that fact than ever before.
