Reince Priebus was Trump’s first White House Chief of Staff. After witnessing how poorly he was treated, and the fact that he was incapable of performing his job thanks to his illegitimate president who demanded complete control, no one in their right mind would have accepted the position.
When former General John Kelly was selected as Priebus’ replacement, Republicans hoped that he would quiet the chaos in the White House. Sadly, it remains in disarray, and it is obvious that the fact that no one knows what the other is doing continues.
Here’s the absolute truth. No business, no organization, and no White House administration can be effective under the control of a raving lunatic. Trump’s enormous ego, and extremely weak temperament, along with his failed party, have resulted in a government which is entirely dysfunctional. But don’t feel sorry for Kelly; he accepted the job, and he is not a saint.
“He doesn’t have control over the White House he runs,” said another senior administration official. “There’s no common purpose binding people together.”
Kusher, Ivanka, and others who failed to receive their security clearances are attempting to blame Kelly. Their lies are not his sins.
“Some wrongly believe the chief stands between them and their security clearances, but it’s not his call,” the official added. “People have a hard time looking in the mirror. It’s a lot easier to train their anger on Gen. Kelly and blame him for why they don’t work there.”
I’m positive that Kelly and other members of the White House staff are pleased that Trump has played golf for more than one-third of his time in office, and when he is in the West Wing he watches television while stuffing his face with cheeseburgers most of the time. They prefer that he yell and scream at a golf ball or a television screen than at them.
Kelly has proven himself incapable of performing his job. He has also revealed himself as a racist, a bigot, a misogynist, and a liar. He is actually a good fit for your illegitimate president.
Finally, Trump does not listen to anyone. Before he was gifted the presidency by the Electoral College, he told us that he ‘knows everything, and is smarter than everyone else.’
Republicans refuse to condemn their immoral leader, so let’s help them do the right thing. Let’s send them home in November, and replace them with younger men and more women who will work for the majority of the American people.
November 6th will be here soon.
