Kanye West’s career is over for millions of patriotic Americans. His support for the most immoral and racist man in America has angered many of his most dedicated and loyal fans. West is a traitor to his race, and obviously aligns himself with other wealthy Americans who happen to be white.
West is an opportunist who values money and success ahead of humanity. He is a disgrace to black men and women and all other races. He made an unbelievable statement defending slave owners in America.
“When you hear about slavery for 400 years … For 400 years? That sounds like a choice.“
West did not stop there. He displayed his ignorance about history and the laws which protected slave owners.
“You were there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all. It’s like we’re mentally imprisoned.“
Here’s the truth that the NRA and every Republican politician in our nation does not want you to know. The basis of the second amendment was to protect slave owners. This was an effort to insure that the men who relied on slaves for their financial success would have weapons to control their “assets,” and that the slaves could be prosecuted and hanged if they attempted to arm themselves in a revolt.
West is not black or white, he is a member of 10.8 million millionaires who value wealth over the lives of our nation’s people. He is the antitheses of heroes who fought for civil rights and equality in the 20th century. Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcom X, Jesse Jackson, and others would be ashamed of such a self-serving man as Kanye West.
Trump is a confirmed white supremacist, a bigot, a sexist, and a xenophobe. Most importantly he fails to fit the definition of an American or even a member of humanity. If West supports him, he must admit that he shares all of his vile beliefs.
West made his outlandish statements at the offices of TMZ. One employee of the company, Van Lathan, responded.
“While you are making music and being an artist and living the life that you’ve earned by being a genius, the rest of us in society have to deal with these threats to our lives,” Lathan said. “We have to deal with the marginalization that’s come from the 400 years of slavery that you said for our people was a choice.”
Lathan added, “Frankly, I’m disappointed, I’m appalled, and brother, I am unbelievably hurt by the fact that you have morphed into something to me, that’s not real.”
I cannot add to this truth.
