There is no doubt that the Trump administration is causing enormous harm to our nation, both with its failure to insure our nation’s security through diplomacy and international relations, and with destructive domestic policies which will greatly harm future generations. The old, white men who lead our country are looking backwards for solutions, and the America only they believe was “great.”

There are lessons to be learned from the disaster which is Donald Trump. (I knew I could find something positive about Trump’s administration.) With the exception of Trump’s remaining supporters, who choose to remain ignorant, most Americans are committed to defeating any future candidates who are sexual predators, and white supremacists. We do not need another Russian puppet in the White House. This cannot happen again if our nation is to survive. Fascism must be driven out of our nation.

While every other developed nation is moving forward enacting social programs for their people; choosing them as their number one priority; the Trump administration and his failed Republican Party are attempting to destroy social programs desperately needed by they majority. They are focused on preparing for war, and increasing their personal incomes; the majority of our nation’s people are of no interest to them. They expect us to serve them although they are intended to serve us.

More than 25 years ago, the Republican Party began waging war on minorities, the working class, and women. Under Trump’s failed and illegitimate presidency, these wars are escalating. Beginning with Paul Ryan’s election in 1998, followed by the emergence of the Koch brother’s TEA Party, Republicans have sought the elimination of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. In a desperate effort to win elections, they support the murderous gun lobby, the NRA. In direct violation of the first amendment, the Christian religious right has dictated policy, and increased hatred, division, and distrust in America. Women have lost their Constitutional rights because of one religion which is based on fairy tales.

With a nation whose average age is 37.8 years of age, how much longer can we allow old, white men to rule over us and place our nation in last place in the developed world? We desperately need more young Americans and many more women in local, state and federal government.

Our nation’s nearly 72 year old illegitimate president is a perfect example of why we must not allow our nation to return to its dark past.

Time for change; the revolution begins on November 6, 2108.
