Comparisons are not always fair. It is unrealistic to compare great minds such as Einstein and and Steven Hawking; they did not share the same expertise. It would be inaccurate to compare Josef Stalin and Adolf Hitler; both were evil men who killed tens-of-thousands of innocent men, women, and children, but each had different methods for their slaughter, and established their power using different tactics. However it is fair to compare American presidents.

Our established governmental system of a democratic republic was designed with three equal but separate branches. The requirements for each branch are clearly defined.

44 men have held the office of President of the United States; Grover Cleveland served twice, separated by four years. Cleveland was our 22^nd and 24^th president. Trump is therefore our 45^th and first illegitimate president.

Until 2017, our nation’s presidents acted with dignity, and displayed respect for both their peers and their adversaries.

Although Trump shares his disdain for the press with Richard Nixon, Nixon had the common sense to resist the constant and unwarranted attacks perpetrated against them every day by Trump.

Partly because of his actions, the media holds Trump to the lowest standards in American history; and he is ‘living down to them.’ I refuse to accept or call Trump ‘president.’ It is fair to compare him to the previous 43 men who have held that title. He is the antithesis of all of the others. He is an embarrassment and the fact that he has forever damaged our nation will have history condemning him as the worst president in American history.

I can answer parts of this question, but every day I still ask ‘why is the media giving Trump a ‘free pass’ on the issues? Any other president who is virtually in constant contact with one of our nation’s biggest enemies would be labeled as a ‘traitor’ by the fourth estate. Any other president who constantly offers ‘alternative facts’ to the American people would be labeled for what he is; a liar.

The television media constantly discussed Bill Clinton’s escapades, but they are unwilling to expose the fact that Trump is a self-admitted sexual predator, who has sexually assaulted at least 19 women, and had numerous extramarital affairs. This makes no sense. Protecting the most immoral man in America is not a reasonable act, and it will change future elections as our government becomes more corrupt.

Television “news anchors” began holding Hillary Clinton to a very high standard in 2015. During that same period, they ignored Trump obvious racism, his Islamophobia, and his perverted sexual history. A free pass.

Trump is destroying democracy and the media continues to ignore the truth. This is why I do not watch television ‘news’ or read the newspapers. I search for factual news information from around the world every morning; I no longer accept lies and half-truths. Join me; it’s important to be informed.

Time for real change, and that means eliminating the current ‘Republicans in name only’ from office in November. The truth is the enemy of GOP politicians, and our weapon is our vote.
