Trump White House; No Compassion, No Common Sense, and No Class

trump-5

It was sad and disgusting when White House aide Kelly Sadler made a comment about Senator John McCain’s rejection of Trump’s nominee to head the CIA. She said that he was of no concern, “he’s dying anyway.” What is even more disgusting is that days later not a single member of Trump’s staff has apologized for the insensitivity of Sadler’s remark. Any other White House Chief of Staff would have fired her immediately. Sadly John Kelly is like-minded and shares Trump’s lack of class and humanity; he has no concern for other human beings.

Here’s the truth; Trump is taking vengence against Senator McCain. In 2015 Trump said that the Senator “was not a war hero.” He said that he liked “people who were not captured.” When Trump was desperate to pass his destructive healthcare bill, Senator McCain cast the deciding vote which ended the repeal of Obamacare. Trump’s extremely weak temperament and enormous ego forces him to attack anyone who offends him in the slightest manner.

White House press secretary, and Trump’s personal liar, Sarah Huckabee Sanders made matters worse when she refused to acknowledge the incident.

I’m not going to validate a leak one way or the other out of an internal staff meeting,” Ms. Sanders said. Asked why she would not simply apologize to Mr. McCain, she said, “I’m not going to get into a back and forth because, you know, people want to create issues of leaked staff meetings.”

Mr. McCain’s friends lashed out at the White House for gross insensitivity. “People have wondered when decency would hit rock bottom with this administration,” former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. said in a statement. “It happened yesterday.”

Given this White House’s trail of disrespect toward John and others,” he added, “this staffer is not the exception to the rule; she is the epitome of it.”

Finally, in the White House are men who served their country, but there is a man sitting behind the Resolute Desk who is a draft dodger. Five deferments for ‘bone spurs’ prevents Trump from criticizing a man who was tortured and continued to be loyal to his country. Any of his employees who attack a war veteran must be fired immediately. Trump is a disgrace to our nation, and does not deserve to have the title of President of the United States.
